LIFE UPDATE: Where have I been?
As we all know life is unpredictable and gets in the way. And that is what has happened with me. I love writing and blogging, its what I'm passionate about and its my escape. But like everything its time consuming and it requires constant attention.. And a lot of it. I would love to 100% commit myself to writing and this blog but with a demanding illness like CFS that isn't always possible. Ultimately I have to put my health first and that means sometimes spending countless days in bed. With that comes all rest and no play.
Believe it or not writing isn't easy and neither is coming up with ideas. For me I write mostly what I have experienced, that is where my inspiration comes from.. from living. The way I see it is I want to be able to connect with people through my writing and the only way to do that is to experience things.
The blog is getting a brand spanking new design and make over, which I'm beyond excited about. I'm a perfectionist (which probably does more harm than good) if I'm not happy with something I won't use it and that is what has happened with the blog lately. By the end of this month the blog will be relaunched and in full swing (I hope.)
As for my health.. Its up and down. I have had some pretty big events going on in the good ol' social calendar and it has taken its toll. But I got to go out and I got to socialize. And that is something I couldn't do a year ago.
I put blood, sweat and tears into this blog and everything on it. It's my baby and its something I am wholeheartedly proud of. The new year is on its way and so is the growth of Road to Recovering. I want to travel, I want to create and I want to inspire.
Don't worry this is just the start.
